My CV

Professional Summary

My ten years of work experience at the Hamilton General Hospital have given me a wide variety of nursing knowledge and skills. Working on 5 South – Cardiac Surgery, I have been able to develop a solid foundation of clinical skills that have helped me to advance my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and to provide exemplary care to cardiac patients in high stress situations. Over the course of my nursing career, I have developed a strong capability to coordinate health care plans to help meet each patient’s unique health care needs from admission to discharge and to communicate available resources to promote quality and cost-effective care. My role as a SMArTVIEW research nurse has helped me to develop my skills of evaluating and interpreting data and communication and to empower seniors to take active roles in their recovery through a virtual hospital to home follow up program. My most recent career venture as a Clinical Informatics Specialist has introduced me to a world of project work, design, and implementation. My career goals include further advancement of my research skills, as well as further post-graduate education so that I can enter new leadership roles and collaborate closely with all disciplines to provide exceptional care and to produce the best outcomes for the patients within my community.
